This is a pack of two VRP 12mm “X V2” EU Version Flat Shock Pistons, intended for use with Team Associated 1/10 Scale Off-Road Vehicles equipped with V2 shock shafts (where the piston is attached to the shock shaft with a screw; not an e-clip). “X” pistons are designed to increase the rebound of the shock, without any compression changes, to keep your tires on the surface and in traction.

To achieve this, “X” shocks are designed with a Transition Valve that opens during rebound, but remains closed during compression. As the shock absorbs a force, compression remains the same, but during rebound, additional oil passes through the valve making it quicker. The pistons come complete with the Transition Valve pre-installed.

EU Version
These EU Version pistons have the rebound booster hole precision drilled to the exact size VRP testing has found to be the best for High Bite tracks. In Addition, the EU Version has less friction against the inner shock body due to a modification that reduces side area of the piston, yet maintains the original pack.
