This is a VRP set of 6 Hole, 1.3mm flat XV3-ST ‘Smooth Track’ Pistons intended for use with 1/8 Team Associated Kits. The pistons come with the Transition Valves (not installed). The Rebound booster hole has been precision drilled to the exact size testing found to be the best ‘all around’ setting. This yields excellent results that are proven on a variety of track surfaces. The ‘XV3’ has less material removed from around the center which equals a much more solid piston.

The ‘Smooth Track’ version of the popular 1/8th XV3 Piston features a slightly slower rebound stroke matched with an improved ‘connected’ compression stroke, resulting in better handling on smooth surfaces. The ‘ST’ piston was designed specifically for tracks that don’t break up and remain smooth, and range from low to high grip.

These Pistons are designed to increase the rebound only and do not change the compression from that of a running stock 6 hole 1.3 pistons. No crazy set up changes! The noticeable difference in this piston is the design, which allows the oil to flow through the holes rather than around the perimeter. Featuring VRP’s Patented Design, these updated ‘ST’ pistons are simple and easy to use. They are “plug and play”, simply install and go!

Important:

The VRP ‘XV3’ Pistons are designed to have a washer under and over them. It is important to run washers and that they are correctly installed. Each set of pistons is supplied with a Washer Hardware Pack to make sure you have what you need to install them.
